Tonight I Can Write

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
Write, for example, ‘The night is starry
and the stars are blue and shiver in the distance.’
The night wind revolves in the sky and sings.
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.
Through nights like this one, I held her in my arms.
I kissed her again and again under the endless sky.
She loved me, sometimes I loved her too.
How could one not love her great still eyes?
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
To feel that I have lost her.
To hear the immense night, still more immense without her.
And the verse falls to the soul like dew to the pasture.
What does it matter that my love could not keep her?

Short English love poems

The night is starry and she is not with me.
This is all. In the distance, someone is singing. In the distance.
My sight tries to find her as though to bring her closer
My heart looks for her, and she is not with me.
The same night whitening the same trees.
We, of that time, are no longer the same.

I no longer love her, that’s certain, but how I loved her.
My voice tried to find the wind to touch her hearing.
Another’s. She will be another’s. As she was before my kisses.
Her voice, her bright body. Her infinite eyes.
I no longer love her, that’s certain, but maybe I love her.
Love is so short, forgetting is so long.
Because through nights like this one I held her in my arms
my soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.
Though this is the last pain that she makes me suffer
and these the last verses that I write for her.

The Song of Despair

The memory of you emerges from the night around me.
The river mingles its stubborn lament with the sea.
Deserted like the waves at dawn.
It is the hour of departure, oh deserted one!
Cold flower heads are raining over my heart.
Oh, pit oh debris, fierce cave of the shipwrecked.
In you, the wars and the flights accumulated.
From you, the wings of the songbird rose.
You swallowed everything, like distance.

Like the sea, like times. In you, everything sank!
It was the happy hour of assault and the kiss.
The hour of the spell that blazed like a lighthouse.
Pilot’s dread, a fury of a blind diver,
turbulent drunkenness of love, in you everything sank!
In the childhood of mist my soul, winged and wounded.
Lost discoverer, in you everything sank!
You girdled sorrow, you clung to desire,
sadness stunned you, in you, everything sank!
I made the wall of shadow draw back,

Short and Sweet Poem in English

beyond decide and act, I walked on.
Oh flesh, my flesh, woman whom I loved and lost,
I summon you in the moist hour, I raise my song to you.
Like a jar, you housed the infinite tenderness.
and the infinite oblivion shattered you like a jar.
There was the black solitude of the islands,
and there, a woman of love, your arms took me in.
There were thirst and hunger, and you were the fruit.
There were grief and the ruins, and you were the miracle.

Short English love poems

Ah, woman, I do not know how you could contain me
in the earth of your soul, in the cross of your arms!
How terrible and brief was my desire of you!
How difficult and drunken, how tense and avid.
Cemetery of kisses, there is still fire in your tombs,
still, the fruited boughs burn, pecked at by birds.
Oh the bitten mouth, oh the kissed limbs,
oh the hungering teeth, oh the entwined bodies.
in which we merged and despaired.
And the tenderness, light as water and as flour.

Most Romantic Poetry in English

And the word scarcely begun on the lips.
This was my destiny and in it was the voyage of my longing,
and in it my longing fell, in you, everything sank!
Oh, a pit of debris, everything fell into you,
what sorrow did you not express, in what sorrow are you not drowned!
From billow to billow you still called and sang.
Standing like a sailor in the prow of a vessel.
You still flowered in songs, you still broke in currents.
Oh, a pit of debris, open and bitter well.

Short English love poems

Pale and blind diver, the luckless slinger,
lost discoverer, in you everything sank!
It is the hour of departure, the hard cold hour
which the night fastens to all the timetables.
The rustling belt of the sea girdles the shore.
Cold stars heave up, black birds migrate.
Deserted like the waves at dawn.
Only the tremulous shadow twists in my hands.
Oh, farther than everything. Oh, farther than everything.
It is the hour of departure. Oh abandoned one!

You should be here

the weather is perfect here just for today
No rain a little wind but not too windy
The sun is shining so brightly
You should be here to see it

They say time heals but
I don’t see how
I see you in a lot of things
Smiling like you always did
Showing the world kindness and generosity
Where ever you went

We were the greatest of friends but
We were more like family, you and I
Talking about different things
Sharing ideas about the thing we enjoyed

Just a smile or a hug from you would
Brighten up my day
I’m sorry I text you that much
I just knew you were busy

Short English love poems

Our world will never be the same without you
a walking inspiration of how we need to be
You were a fighter in the national guard
Not like killing people but like helping with disasters
And you were always willing to help out other people

My heart breaks every time I think about texting you
Because you’re not here anymore to text me back or
To give me hugs
You should be here *cries* but you’re not
You were gone before your life could start
I tell myself that this is just a dream
I’ll wake up soon And you’ll be here
But it would be a lie because you’re not here

The world that we live in is not the same without you
It just goes on but I feel like something missing all the time
And that is you I miss you and love you

Feelings too Heavy to Hold

Is there someone
That can hear this pain
In my voice
As I speak
For someone to listen
Many try
To make me feel right
Telling me
To open up
My feelings
They will hold every so tight

But then they
Release a trapdoor
Dumping all my feelings
Directly on the hard floor
For everyone
To trample on
As I
Try so hard
To gather my feelings
So I can carry along
But too many
Pull my strings
Trying to see
How far I will bend
If only
They would hold my feelings to keep

True Love

True love is a sacred flame
That burns eternally,
And none can dim its special glow
Or change its destiny.
True love speaks in tender tones
And hears with gentle ear,
True love gives with an open heart
And true love conquers fear.
True love makes no harsh demands
It neither rules nor binds,
And true love holds with gentle hands
The hearts that it entwines.
